1. Who we are

EmpowHER Festival is produced by Madewell Productions. This policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with empowheratx.com (the "Site") and our events.

2. Information we collect

• You provide it: information you choose to send us when you contact us by email or social media — such as your name, contact details, and the contents of your message. The Site itself does not collect or store form submissions.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server access logs (such as IP address, request time, and pages requested) as part of operating its service. The Site runs no analytics or tracking scripts of its own.
• At events: photos and recordings taken at the festival, which may include attendees. By attending, you consent to appearing in promotional photos and recordings.

3. How we use it

We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiries, to send event updates if you have asked for them, and to promote the festival, including through event photos and recordings. We keep what you send us only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and run the festival.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that operate our infrastructure (such as our hosting provider, Netlify, which processes server logs as described above), with any third-party ticketing and payment providers we may use once tickets or merchandise go on sale — those providers will handle your purchase information under their own terms, presented at the point of sale — and where required by law. Messages you send us by email or social media are also processed by those platforms under their own policies. We never sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

The Site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics or tracking scripts, embeds no third-party content, and serves all fonts, images, and video from our own hosting. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us at the address below. We do not currently send a newsletter; if we ever send email updates, each one will include an unsubscribe link.

7. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
